The purpose for the benchmarks are to compare performance with several variables to see if anyone or I can isolate the troubles plauging our machines. I do not guarantee these benchmarks to be 100% acuarate, they are merely my own test results. The machines I tested were hard reset then loaded with SOTI Pocket Controller, Battery Pack 2003, PDA Mill Gamebox Solitaire, SPB Benchmark, and the overclocking software listed below on the 400mhz model w/2003.

I finally got a chance to get my hands on an Axim x5 with Windows Mobile 2003 that works on it. WOW ! Why would anyone drop the extra $150 to get a Ipaq 2215 ? The Results are Amazing in Comparison to my earlier tests.
Notes:
- Soft Reset to 5-8 seconds as opposed to 30+ second with flawed WM 2003 installation...
- Start Menu is much quicker...
- Most Important !!! PDA Mills Gamebox Solitaire LOAD SUPER FAST NOW !!!!

XCPUScalar 400 - New Version 2.5. PC 2003 support, now with Auto Scale, CPU Meter. Speed your 400 Mhz XScale Pocket PC upto 530Mhz. Supports Keylock, Display Toggle and more.

XScaleCtrl for Dell Axim - A Control Panel applet that allows the XScale Dell Axim to be changed from 100-500MHz and can re-apply the speed after power on or a soft reset without a background application.
|

 Results Derived using SPB Benchmark. Spb Benchmark is a tool for measuring Pocket PC device performance. Spb Benchmark measures various aspects of Pocket PC device productivity and speed such as:
- Processor speed
- Memory Bus speed
- Screen and graphics speed
- Battery lifetime
- Storage card read/write speed
Unlike other benchmark applications for Pocket PC, Spb Benchmark also carries out some tests that could be more informative for an average user:
- Pocket Word, Pocket Internet Explorer and File Explorer performance tests
- JPEG file opening
- Audio (mp3) and video (avi) performance
