Help configuring BT
I'm having to rebuild my X5 after a battery loss. It's been many years since I last done this and I'm having problems configuring the Bluetooth. I'm using a Dell Truemobile 300 CF card. When I pair with a new device there is no option to set a COM port, this option was there befor the rebuild. Anyone got any ideas what I need to reinstall ?

Thanks in advance.

you may need to create a partnership first to discover com ports and device options available from that pairing. what kind of device are you trying to pair?

I've made the pairing to a HOLOX GPS receiver, but there are no options to configure the COM port.

Hurray! I've solved it. Installed the Widcomm drivers and fiddled with the registry .... voila it now works. See PPC2003 Drivers for Dell Truemobile 300 and Belkin F8T020
