Tips for Tonaya Weather To Go users
Tonaya Weather To Go plugin registred it self for update on the AppRunAtNetConnect. This event is fired just after you insert axim into cragle. Good http connection may be not available that time yet. Unfortantly the plugin has no delay and connection waiting. As result: weather data is not updated automatic. If you assign "\Program Files\Tonaya\WeatherToGo\WTGDaemon" for AppRunAfterSync event (for example you can use MemMaid) then plugin will work as expected and updates every time when you insert into cragle. Another tip: you can schedule to run WTGDaemon at certain time to get weather data update.

Go to "Notification Queue" tab and press "Add" button and register WTGDaemon on AppRunAfterSync event . Sorry my trial period for MemMaid is expired and I may be wrong about details. I am done with my short C program in VisualStudio, but I belive you can do same with program like MemMaid.

Hi,

I wasn't able to get weather information for many cities such as Mountain View, Palo Alto, or even San Jose, all in California--although major cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles were Ok. All the cities I mentioned were in their menu though.. Any tips? Thanks, Ben

I have the same problem with Redmond, WA and Seattle, WA. The weather forecast never changes....

Excellent tip....worked great for me (I did it using MemMaid).

Does anyone know how to get WTG to save your settings after a soft reset? Every time I soft reset have to go back and set it to just show one city, etc. It would be great if there was a way to save that so I don't need to mess with it after a soft reset.

Regards,

Gary
