Answers Corporation, creators of the leading answer engine offering
Answers.com and WikiAnswers.com, today announced its first

During the AnswerThon, registered contributors will answer as many questions as possible over 48 hours, sharing their knowledge and competing for prizes. Answers must be original work and can address unanswered questions in any of WikiAnswers’ 2,406 categories. Participants can also correct or improve existing incorrect answers.
“We’re excited about the upcoming event,” said Jay Bailey, Director of Community Development for WikiAnswers. “WikiAnswers is extremely active as it is, but introducing some competition is an exciting way to spread the enthusiasm and promote worldwide knowledge sharing. New contributors have just as good a chance as veterans, and grandparents can leverage their life experience to compete against their grandchildren.”
The winner and first two runners-up will receive Amazon gift certificates of various amounts. All prize winners, and the next ten runners up, will receive WikiAnswers T-shirts.
